How can a man be right before God?

Job 9:20 (AMPC) “Though I am innocent and in the right, my own mouth would condemn me; though I am blameless, He would prove me perverse.” There is no human practice that can ever make man right before God. Ever since our forefather Adam disobeyed God, everyone enters this world as a sinner. Many people mistake good practices for righteousness and most of us are too quick to judge others based on our own self imposed righteousness, forgetting that we might actually be worst sinners than those in the open. In Matthew 5:28, Jesus says that when you look at a woman lustfully, you commit adultery with her in your heart. 1 John 3:15 also tells us that even hating a brother qualifies you to become a murderer even though most of us prefer to categorize a murderer as someone who picks up a gun and shoots others. Who then can be righteous before God? The answer is simple. “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26 KJV). The reason Christ came was to make you and I right before God. He is the second Adam who presents his bride perfect and spotless before God irrespective of the sins they committed. That is grace. So our task is to yield to this free gift of God everyday of our life. *Further* *study* Ephesians 5:25-28
