Ephesians 1:7 (NIV)
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace”
Through Jesus Christ, God has redeemed us from the penalty of death which we all deserved due to the sin committed by our first father Adam. In redeeming us, He also forgave our sins and forgot them completely making us totally free, Hebrews 8:12 says that, "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
In our journey of Christianity, we must remember that the devil is working day and night to stumble those that have believed the message of Christ. In Jesus' parable of the sower (Matthew 13:21) He teaches that there are people who will be excited to receive the gospel of Jesus but their joy will be short lived. This is because when persecution and trouble come due to the word they've received, they quickly fall.
Many people are called to accept the free gift of God but few are chosen because they have believed. May God strengthen your faith in Him and make you see His grace on your life.
Blessed week
