Romans 4:16 (KJV)

“Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,”

Faith and grace define the new being that Christ has reunited with God. The bible defines faith as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of realities not seen and grace is defined as the undeserved favour from God.

So the undeserved favour from God is achieved by us believing that God can do it all. When you analyse the miracles of Jesus, He usually added the statement, "your faith has made you well". Meaning God judges your faith in Him for His grace to be manifested in your life. The centurion (Mat 8:5-13) demonstrated great faith when he asked Jesus to send His word for his servant to be healed.

Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith, it's impossible for anyone to please God. Faith is when you choose to pay a deaf ear to the realities around you to believe the realities in God. The great Shunamite woman (2Kings 4:8-37) refused to believe that her son was dead and neither could God when He refused to reveal to Elisha.

May your faith in God increase like never before.
