1John 2:1-2 (MSG)
“I write this, dear children, to guide you out of sin. But if anyone does sin, we have a Priest-Friend in the presence of the Father: Jesus Christ, righteous Jesus. When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good—not only ours, but the whole world’s."
Apostle Paul in Romans 7:15 mentioned something that affects every Christian in the world. He said, "I don’t understand why I act the way I do. I don’t do the good I want to do, and I do the evil I hate.”
Friends because of this Shameful and sinful world, many times our flesh wants to be a part of it because everything in it seems so pleasing to the eye. Whenever we lose sight of the cross, shame takes over. Without the cross, our sin defines us. No matter how long you’ve been a believer in Jesus Christ, the temptation to go back to our old way remains, the way of the law.
But here is the hope, the bible promises us in the above scripture that Christ solved the sin problem for good that's why it's written in 1 Cor 10:13 that there is no temptation that will overcome you because God will provide a way out. All we have to do is incline ourselves to Jesus by reading the word of God which will constantly clean us and keep us on track.
Have a blessed day
