James 3:6 (NIV) "The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell." Every now and then we all use our tongues either consciously or unconsciously. The Bible in Proverbs 18:21 tells us that; death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit. When the Bible says that the tongue is a fire, it means that whatever we speak has impact. We create and destroy using the tongue itself. Sometimes we take this lightly but whatever is spoken can not be reversed. Let's learn to speak words that build others. Let our speech not destroy us, but rather build us no matter the situation.
